The tuition information below reflects the proposed tuition and fees at the time of publication. Notwithstanding any other provisions of this or any other University publication, the University reserves the right to make changes in tuition, fees, and other charges at any time such changes are deemed necessary by the University and the University System of Maryland Board of Regents.

Cost of Attendance (COA) represents an estimate of the maximum costs a student might expect based on tuition and fees, housing, transportation, books and materials, miscellaneous living expenses, and loan fees (as applicable).’

Orientation Fee – (Undergraduate)* Students are required to pay the orientation fee regardless of attendance at Orientation Session.


Matriculation Fee – (Graduate)* Charged $100 the first term and $100 the second term.


Late Registration Fee* – Charged when registering on the first day of the term or later.


Graduate Certificate Fee*


International Student Fee (New Fee as of Fall 2019) – Charged each semester for Undergraduate and Graduate International Students. More information.


Returned Payment Charge* – First occurrence, a cash-only flag is placed on account for 1 year, the second occurrence, the flag remains on account indefinitely. Note that returned items fees will be charged for incorrect account number entries, closed accounts, stop payments, insufficient funds, etc.


Late Payment Fee* – Charged as a percentage of the past due balance. More information
