Refunds for Dropping or Withdrawing from Classes
During the schedule adjustment period, you can swap a course for another course (for the same number of credits) without financial penalty. Please be sure to add the new course to your schedule before dropping the old one. If you drop a course during the schedule adjustment period and do not replace it with another course, you will receive a pro-rated financial refund based on the drop date. Please refer to the Refund Schedule below.
Swap Example
Add Math 101 (3 credits), Drop Math 101 (3 credits, Add Math 102 (3 credits) – Charged for 3 credits of tuition and fees.

May 26, 2026 – May 29, 2026
- By May 26 = 100% refund
- May 27 – May 29 = 80% refund
- Swap Period
- May 30 – June 1 = 60% refund
- June 2 – June 4 = 40% refund
- June 5 – June 8 = 20% refund
- After June 8 = 0% refund
Summer Session 2 Drop/Withdraw Refund Schedule
Schedule Adjustment Period
July 6, 2026 – July 9, 2026
- By July 6 = 100% refund
- July 7 – July 9 = 80% refund
- Swap Period
- July 10 – July 13 = 60% refund
- July 14 – July 16 = 40% refund
- July 17 – July 20 = 20% refund
- After July 20 = 0% refund
*NOTE:
- No refunds for full-time Undergraduate students remaining at full-time (12 or more credits) after drops are completed.
- Students are responsible for payment of 100% of non-refundable fees.
